AFCAT 2 Online Application Form 2024:

On May 30, 2024, the AFCAT 2 online registration procedure will open on the official website, careerindianairforce.cdac.in OR afcat.cdac.in. To prevent last-minute technological issues, candidates should apply online for the AFCAT 2 Exam well in advance of the deadline for registration. How to Apply for the AFCAT 2 2024 Exam:

Step 1- Registration Process

• Visit the official website or click the link provided below.
• There will a new page. It is required for new users to register first.
• Select “Register as a New User.”
• When a new page loads, you may register yourself by entering your email address and cellphone number.
• Your email and cellphone number will receive an OTP; fill it out and press “Submit.”
• Your registered email address and cellphone number will get a login ID and password.

Step 2- Login

• Enter your password and registration number to log in. Choose the article.
• Depending on the candidate’s educational background, fill in additional information such as educational qualifications, etc.
• Use a credit or debit card or Internet banking to make the appropriate online examination fee payment.
• It is necessary for candidates to send a JPEG file including a scanned copy of their color photo and signature (in either Hindi or English).
• Enter your Registration Number and Password to access the “UPLOAD” link, then upload the file or scanned copy of the completed form.
• Upload each and every certification that is needed.
• Send in the application. For records, print off the acknowledgment.

Eligibility Criteria for Afcat 2 Application :

• AFCAT Age Limit

1. Flying Branch: The applicant must at least 20 years old, with a 24-year-old maximum age limit. Candidates with a current, valid commercial pilot license from the DGCA (India) are eligible to apply, with a 26-year maximum age limit. The applicants’ birth dates must fall between January 1, 2001, and January 1, 2005.
2. Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: The age requirement for ground duty is 20 years old, with a 26-year-old upper limit. The applicant’s birthdate must fall between January 1, 1999, and January 1, 2005.

Note: Upon the start of the course, candidates under the age of 25 must single. Additionally ineligible are widows/widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) who are younger than 25.

• AFCAT Educational Qualification

Flying branch: A minimum of 50% in maths and physics at the 10+2 level, as well as a three-year degree OR a minimum of 60% in /BTech from an accredited university.

AFCAT 2024 Selection Process:

All applicants who pass the AFCAT 2 in 2024 will receive call letters from the Indian Air Force inviting them to come for the AFSB Testing, which is the second round of selection.

• AFSB Testing Stage 1

It consists of the two exams listed below:

1. Officer Intelligence Rating Test.
2. Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PP&DT)

Candidates who fail Stage 1, also known as the screening test, will disqualified and won’t invited to Stage 2 of the AFSB Testing.

• AFSB Testing Stage 2

All applicants who meet the requirements for Stage 1 must show up for AFSB Stage 2 and take the following tests:

1. Psychological exams: Professional psychologists administer these written psychological exams.
2. Group Tests: These assessments use both cognitive and motor skills to assess applicants on a range of mental and physical characteristics.
3. AFSB Interview: During this phase, the candidate is interviewed one-on-one by the interviewing officer.
4. Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) Test: Only applicants to the Flying Branch are required to take this test.

• Medical Examination

Those that are recommended will contacted for the physical test. The Institute of Aviation Medicine in Bengaluru and the Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME) are the only two medical examination institutions recommended by the Indian Air Force. Following the medical examination, a final merit list will created using the candidate’s written and AFSB interview scores. The acceptance letter from each of the training schools to which they have applied will sent to each selected applicant.

AFCAT 2 2024 Admit Card :

For every phase of the Air Force Common Admission Test, the Indian Air Force distributes call letters and admit cards. It required of the applicants to download their admit cards and bring a printout to the examination location.

AFCAT 2024 Result :

Every day, there will two shifts for the AFCAT 2024 exam. The results of the exam will available around a month after the exam date. Upon official release, applicants who took the written test can review their results and cut-off scores.
