  • ALBIDONA, CALABRIA: This beach and mountain resort is located around 7 miles inland from the Ionian Sea and 11 miles from the mountains of Pollino National Park. If that’s not enough to entice you, you may own a house there for as little as €1 (90.44 Rs. only).
  • SANTA SEVERINA, CALABRIA: Surrounded by hills, Santa Severina is perched on a rocky cliff with views of the river and palm palms. The town is a showcase for the architectural change from the Norman to Byzantine Empire periods, with the Neto river cutting through it for around six kilometers.

Who can apply:

The initiative is open to anyone who is interested in relocating to Calabria’s small villages. However, there are certain criteria that applicants must meet. Applicants must:

  • over 18 years of age.
  • Have a valid Passport or an ID card.
  • Have health insurance.
